New General Store Build
The original building had many lives. The previous owners operated a cafe and it has been a general store and a park kiosk as well. The old building was unable to be saved and has since been demolished to make way for a new building, A Convenience store will occupy one side while the village office and reception will occupy the other. Travellers staying in the village and locals will appreciate the convenience store as there are few shopping options in the area.
The first photo is of viewing the new building from near the footbridge in the bbq area. The historical photo shows the old building as the park kiosk beside the Helidon Spa Pool, which is now filled in.
